On request, the Congress Secretariat will be pleased to send letters of invitation to individual scientists. Invitations of this kind are intended to assist potential delegates to raise their travel funds or obtain visas.
They do not imply any commitment or responsibility on behalf of the Congress to provide financial support.

NAME BADGES
You will receive a personalized badge when collecting your registration documents. During the Congress, this badge must be clearly visible at all times and grants access to the Scientific Sessions, Commercial Exhibition and official Social Events.

Airline Information
Turkish Airlines, as a member of Qualiflyer Group, offers a global network of flights linking Turkey with most of the major cities throughout the world.

Izmir's International Adnan Menderes Airport is 15 km from the city center, with separate terminal buildings for international and domestic flights.

LUNCH
The lunches will be served at congress venue.

CERTIFICATE OF ATTENDANCE
All the participants who attended the congress will get their certificates of attendance.

CONGRESS BOOK
Türkiye Klinikleri Journal of Medical Sciences publishes the articles of invited speakers, oral and poster abstracts in II. AntiAging and Aesthetic Medicine Congress.

LIABILITY
In registering for the Congress, participants agree that neither the Scientific Committee nor the Organizing Secretariat assumes any liability. Participants should therefore organize their own health and travel insurance.

SPEAKER SERVICE CENTRE
Only digital presentations will be accepted during the congress and all presentations should be handed in at the Speaker Service Centre at least two hours prior to the start of the session.

EXHIBITION
An exhibition of products and services will be held for the duration of the Congress, in the congress centre of the DESEM – Dokuz Eylül Üniversitesi Sürekli Eğitim Merkezi.

CLIMATE AND CLOTHING
During October the daytime temperatures are in the range of 18-19°C and evening temperatures are 8-9°C. We recommend you bring light clothes, sweater and a jacket for cooler evenings. There might be an occasional rain and it is therefore advisable to bring an umbrella.

CURRENCY
Turkish currency is New Turkish Lira (TL). Exchange rates are set daily by the Central Bank.

BANKING AND EXCHANGE FACILITIES
Foreign money can be changed at banks during normal business days (09.00-17.00 Monday-Fridays) as well as at hotels, at the airport and in exchange offices. All major credit cards are accepted in hotels, restaurants and shops. Automated bank machines are available at many points throughout the city and at the airport.

TURKISH CUISINE
Traditional Turkish cuisine is famous for its many specialties prepared with fresh vegetables. There are lots of quality restaurants in the vicinity of the DESEM – Dokuz Eylül Üniversitesi Sürekli Eğitim Merkezi or in the downtown.

TIPPING
Although service charge is included in most restaurants, leaving a tip at one's own discretion is appreciated.

GMT+2 (GMT = Greenwich Mean Time).

ELECTRICITY
Turkey has 220 volts/50 Hz. electricity and socket type is European standard. (2-pin plug).
